Ministry and Personnel Committee

The M&P Committee is a confidential, consultative body that supports the pastoral relationship. The Committee consists of not less than three and not more than seven members. The Committee duties include: providing a supportive and consultative agency for the staff of the Pastoral Charge; reviewing work conditions and remuneration for the staff; overseeing the relationship of the staff with the congregation; consulting with staff regarding their plans for continued education; reviewing and evaluating annually the effectiveness of the staff of the Pastoral Charge as defined by the Church Council; and reporting staff vacation, study or other leave planning to the Church Council. The M&P Committee meets a minimum of four times per year.
